Lee's Little Huskies

The first time I saw a picture of an Alaskan Klee Kai ( miniature huskies ) was in 2002.  I knew then that I just had to have one.  I had to wait a year to get my first AKK.   'PR' BBCOOK'S NULA  was the first Alaskan Klee Kai for me.  She is my favorite because of that.  She was born Oct 15th 2003.  She is a grey and white with more of the wolf look to her.  Which is why I wanted her.  I love the wolf look.  I got her when she was 8 weeks old.  We bonded at once and she doesn't like it when I leave her to go to work.  She is a laid back loveable dog, my best friend.  I want other people to know the joy of owning one of these wonderful animals, so I decided to become a breeder.  I had her for 1 1/2 years before I found her a mate.  The sire of all my puppies is 'PR' BBCOOK'S PHOENIX.   Phoenix was born Sept 1 2004. I picked him for Nula because he was opposite of her.   His coloring is more like a huskies coloring, black and white. I got Phoenix when he was 8 months old.  Phoenix is very protective of me and lets me know when someone is by the house.  Both Nula and Phoenix have the blue eye genes in their bloodline. Nula has the red coloring in her bloodline. The red coloring is very rare and I keep hoping that some day they will have a red puppy. They are both very protective of our home and think they are a full grown husky when they think I need protecting.  In February 2008 I purchased my second female, 'PR' ANERNERK'S ANNETTE, she is black and white.  Annie was 2 years old when I got her,  but she became a part of our family right away.  So far she has had black and white pups and Nula has had gray and white pups.
